So, as of most of you know, I love to read!!! I could sit down and read all day if my eyes and head would let me… Anyways, one of the main goals I have been talking about on my Instagram since the beginning of this year is that I want to try and read 50 books. I am quite a bit behind but feel I will be able to catch up on a nice day outside. With that being said, here are some of the ones that I have read, that I would recommend and a little bit of the story that I got from them.

 1)

The first book that I read this year for the 3rd time is this one! “The Shack” is such an incredible and humbling book. If you have seen the movie, you have to read this book. When we start to ask God why things happen? When we start to ask God why he didn’t stop things from happening? When we judge God instead of ourselves? All kinds of these questions that I kept asking God time and time again, they were answered in this book. It is so much you do not think about until you read this book. God is always there, it’s just are we listening when the Lord speaks?…

2)

This is another really great book…stop believing the lies others tell us or what we tell ourselves! Rachel Hollis is very blunt and tells it like it is, that is one reason why I fell in love with her unique style of writing and this book. This was the second book I read this year and I would definitely read it over again!

3)

Sooo… being a Wife and Loving the Lord is not a difficult task, is it?? I think sometimes it can be, when you have different perspectives, or when something comes up with health. You can be tested in your faith, in your relationship at any time. This is Jennifer’s story and she does a great job of bringing reality to it all. I really enjoyed reading this book, and think anyone who is a Wife or wants to be or is going to be.. should read this as well.
